FREE LOWER MANHATTAN WIRELESS NETWORK
The Downtown Alliance has launched a free wireless network in eight different
public spaces in Lower Manhattan (see exact locations in the map on the right).
You'll enjoy free wireless Internet access from your laptop or PDA. So step out and log on: surf
the Web, check your e-mail, and send instant messages while relaxing in the park.
The Wall Street Inn is within range of the Stone Street hotspot. You can access the free WiFi
from many parts of the hotel including the breakfast nook and most east-facing rooms.
How to log on to the Lower Manhattan Wireless Network:
First, you must be in one of the 8 active hotspot locations: City
Hall Park, Bowling Green Park, the World Financial Center Winter Garden,
the Vietnam Veterans Memorial at 55 Water Street, 1 New York Plaza (the
southwestern deck), the new Staten Island Ferry Terminal, Stone Street,
or the South Street Seaport (Pier 17 Food Court and Back Deck).
