Free Lower Manhattan Wireless Network:

The Downtown Alliance has launched a free wireless network in eight different public spaces in Lower Manhattan. You'll enjoy free wireless Internet access from your laptop or PDA. So step out and log on: surf the Web, check your e-mail, and send instant messages while relaxing in the park.

The Wall Street Inn is within range of the Stone Street hotspot. You can access the free WI-FI from many parts of the hotel including the breakfast nook and most east-facing rooms.

How to log on to the Lower Manhattan Wireless Network:

First, you must be in one of the 8 active hotspot locations: City Hall Park, Bowling Green Park, the World Financial Center Winter Garden, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial at 55 Water Street, 1 New York Plaza (the southwestern deck), the new Staten Island Ferry Terminal, Stone Street, or the South Street Seaport (Pier 17 Food Court and Back Deck).
